To celebrate our largest annual fundraising breakfast for breast cancer, Women in Tourism will welcome guest speaker Jennifer Marles-Malone from the Cancer Council Queensland.

Since joining the State’s largest non-government organisation in cancer control in 2009, Jennifer has worked to further engage the charity’s staff and supporters to enhance their contribution to and public support of the charity within the Southern Queensland region.

Jennifer has been instrumental in the Pink Ribbon Day and Girls Night In projects and has dedicated much of her time recently to gathering financial backing for the development of Cancer Council Queensland’s new patient accommodation and support lodge in Toowoomba; which offers accommodation at no cost to regional cancer patients having to travel to receive cancer treatment.
