Wear your best brightest racing gear and get into the Spring Racing season for this month's breakfast! The racing theme carries through to the venue and our speaker for November.

"Fillies, Facts and Fictions"

Don't miss our guest speaker, Jeff Haynes former Racecourse Manager of the Gold Coast Turf Club. Jeff is a highly successful Senior Manager with more than 35 years experience in the operations and management of large land areas and infrastructure as well as managing a large workforce.

Constructing and maintaining racecourses with up to 60 race meetings per year and 700 horses per day, 7 days a week, was all part of Jeff's daily life!

He started his career as an apprentice at Flemington Racecourse and worked his way up through country racecourses, he was then appointed Senior Manager of the Australian Jockey Club for 13 years and most recently, Racecourse Manager of the Gold Coast Turf Club. This role saw Jeff in charge of 100 strong work force on a 24 hours, 7 day per week roster and controlling multi-million dollar budgets!

He's got plenty of stories to tell and interesting facts and figures on the racing industry and its impact on the local tourism market.Note:
