Join us at the August Women In Tourism Networking Breakfast for the Annual General Meeting and to hear from guest speaker Mike Winlaw, CEO of Surfers Paradise Alliance.
AGM
The Women in Tourism Annual General Meeting will be held at the August Breakfast. Please come along and vote for the 2011/2012 Women in Tourism Committee. The AGM will kick off at 6:50am and once the formalities are completed, our Guest speaker will commence his presentation.
To vote at the AGM Members will need to ensure they are financial and have registered as a financial member prior to the AGM commencing. This can be done on arrival at the designated table. Guest Speaker
Mike Winlaw is the CEO of SUrfers PAradise Alliance, the official Marketing and Management Authority for Surfers Paradise and working closely with Gold Coast Tourism and the Gold Coast City Council delivers a series of programs and events such as the Surfers Paradise Festival to enhance the economic prosperity of the precinct.
As CEO Mike reports to a Board of Directors for the delivery of organisation strategy and overall operational performance of the organisation.
Over the past 6 months the organisation has been moving through a significant transformation and period of change including a realignment of its target market and subsequent event strategy.
Note: All WIT functions are pre-paid. No money will be accepted at the door. Refunds will only be given if we receive written notification of the cancellation 72 working hours prior to the function to rsvp@womenintourism.org. Paid tickets may be transferred, however the discounted rate of tickets only applies to current financial Members of Women in Tourism. If a WIT Member transfers their ticket to a non-member the full visitor rate is applicable.
