What’s in store for Gold Coast tourist operators following the Gold Coast City Council’s $120 million stimulus package?
Hear from the Council economic development director Darren Scott who will be guest speaker at the August Women in Tourism breakfast.
Mr Scott, who has been with GCCC since 2006, plays a crucial role in helping Council identify and deliver projects aimed at diversifying and strengthening the Gold Coast's economy.
His professional experience includes engineering design and construction management, transport marketing and strategy consulting. Mr Scott, a civil engineer, also holds an MBA.
Mr Scott obviously likes challenges when he travels. He is a keen mountaineer, having completed expeditions to Nepal, Pakistan and South America.
