Ian Ferguson - Centre Manager, Robina Town Centre

Ian will discuss this landmark multi?staged expansion of QIC's Robina Town Centre which will create the Gold Coast's ultimate address to shop, play, relax and celebrate. The $300 million dollar, Stage One expansion, will see the Centre significantly remodelled with the creation of three new malls linking with the existing Arbour Lane, Bazaar Street and the Food Markets, creating an impressive all weather shopping experience.

Ian was appointed Centre Manager at Robina Town Centre on 19 May 2008 following 23 years experience in retail property management in a number of roles and in major centres with Kern Corporation, Coles Myer Properties, South Bank Corporation, Jones Lang LaSalle, Colonial First State Property, Lend Lease and now QIC. That experience has included a number of shopping centre extensions, refurbishments and developments.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from James Cook University and is an Associate of CPA Australia and a licensed Real Estate Manager. He has a Graduate Certificate in Shopping Centre Management from the Property Council of Australia and serves on their national committee for educational courses.

Ian and his wife Roz have recently moved from Brisbane to Mudgeeraba and say they've never had so many visiting friends and relatives drop in.
