A note from your President
Women in Tourism is a not-for-profit networking organisation where Gold Coast professional business women (and men) meet on the first Friday of every month to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and a morning of networking at member venues located around the Coast.
Members of our organisation enjoy getting to know like-minded individuals from not only the tourism industry but a wide variety of companies and organsiations around the Gold Coast.
Each month we host raffles at our breakfasts to raise money for our nominated charities which include: Majella House, Tweed Shire Womens Service, McLeod Support Services and Rosies Mission. All monies raised are donated to each charity on an annual basis.
Our volunteer committee consists of 13 amazing women all from a diverse range of industries including research, accommodation, communications, tourism operators, iconic venues and locations to name a few.
As well as our monthly breakfasts, members and guests also have an opportunity to network over a relaxing glass of wine at our WIT & Wine nights held at various venues on a quarterly basis. It's just another way to get to know local business people in a more relaxed and less formal environment.
We always love to meet new and interesting people so if you want to get to know more business professionals on the Coast and devleop long-term business relationships then please come and enjoy our next breakfast and see for yourself!
In the mean time, next time you hear a good song on the radio.... Sing like no one can hear you.... you'll be surprised just how enjoyable it really is.
