- What is your current work role?
I am currently working at the Sofitel Gold Coast at Broadbeach.
- What is the best thing about your job?
Hosting lots of fabulous events - plus I just LOVE hotels.
- Have you always called the Gold Coast home?
I was born in Adelaide and spent 9 years living in a small northern Queensland town called Yeppoon, but I've always called the Gold Coast "home".
- What do you like most about living on the Gold Coast?
The relaxed lifestyle and the easy access to so many wonderful places - a short drive to Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Mt Tamborine and Byron Bay. And a quick flight to Sydney or Melbourne - we have it all at our finger tips!
- Why did you join Women in Tourism?
The first time I attended a WIT breakfast I was by myself and just blown away at how welcoming everyone was. It was the first true networking event I'd attended. I joined WIT (and then the committee) because I felt the women were all 'movers and shakers' and that's what I wanted to be a part of - and wanted to become.
- What is your most memorable holiday?
Three years ago I was in Paris and as cliche as it sounds, I was very much taken aback when my partner proposed to me on the Eiffel Tower!
- When you’re not working, or at WIT breakfasts, where could we find you?
You'll find me at my favourite sleep town just down the road - Kingscliff - enjoying a glass of red wine and beautiful beaches.
